Where would the hex color values be stored? Also - would there be any way of adding multiple hex values to the color swatch? For dual color or multicolor products? If this is possible it would be great!

This can already be accomplished with any number of WooCommerce plugins. They are compatible with Breakdance.

Louis Reingold: It is clear to me that it is possible to buy and use various plugins for this purpose, but why not integrate these options in the builder - in this way, it is not necessary to use additional plugin, and we get clean code and easy use for non-advanced users.
Breakdance builder already has a lot of options for editing Woocommerce content - why not also offer variations swatches inside builder that are the foundation of an ecommerce site?
Later, it is possible to use this feature in ready-made templates for e-commerce.
