Frontend Text Editing
Phil Kurth
This would be great. I was thinking it would be nice to be able to provide clients a toggle to switch between editing modes (instead of using different logins) but this would cover that requirement, if I'm understanding correctly.
Would this essentially be the same as Edit Content Interface Only, just on the front end?

Voting for this! I think every single client would just love to change texts here and there without dealing with anything else.

Or, even a "Medium" like frontend text editor will be nice.

This would be a great feature, allowing clients to update text and images. If you could replicate the Oxygen gutenberg plugin for Breakdance, that would work for me.

Something similar. Point-and-click. But the two times when I tried it on webflow, it didnt actually work.

It seems to me that the Breakdance interface might be clean enough, and WYSIWYG enough, that you could just make it easy for editors to enter Breakdance with a click from the top bar. Then, once the changes are made, they click "save & exit" and they land right back on the frontend page they were editing.
Maybe with the simplified editor mode in Breakdance, this flow could give a feeling of frontend editing, but without needing to maintain another UI?
For me, most of the value of frontend editing is letting the clients avoid the WP backend.
To push this idea a little further, If they could also "add post" or "add page" I think you'd be a big step closer to having a truly disruptive answer to "The Website Builder (clients) Always Wanted."
Love it so far Louis. Thanks!
