Add shortcode to other elements

We cannot add shortcodes to the rich text, text, list icon element or lots of other elements.
Please make this possible!
Example: I want to use the Easy Footnotes plugin and add footnotes to the content fields of different elements, it's not possible.

This feature should be in the Brackdance. Shortcodes are the easiest way to add dynamic content to a specific place.
the_content filter won't work for archive templates.

Image, Custom Field (image url) does not accept a shortcode (which contains the URL, I generated with PHP)...
