Louis Reingold: Indeed you can, but if you want to have a primary button with an icon you have to go through all the steps of configuring colors, padding, etc. An option to add an icon to an existing button type (primary, secondary) is needed.

Louis Reingold: Is there ever going to be a way to add icons to individual primary/secondary buttons? As of now you still cannot do this without recreating the primary/secondary button in the custom section.

Kenny Griffin: What we might do is give the ability to have a palette of button styles (just like you have for global colors or global fonts) - that way you aren't limited to primary and secondary. And then for each button, override the styles for that specific button. That would allow your user case and many others.
